Recently, the establishment underwent a comprehensive refurbishment, entrusting Shaker Ltd with the task of employing the authentic DuPont Corian material in the renovation of more than 77 rooms.

The refurbishment of The Westin Dragonara Resort undertaken by Shaker Ltd constituted a meticulous and expansive project, encompassing various facets of room design and functionality.

• Designed by Lynn Hunt: Lynn Hunt, a London-based designer, spearheaded the project’s design.

• Kitchen Counter Tops: Shaker Ltd addressed the diverse sizes of the kitchens in the rooms by crafting different-sized kitchen countertops.

• Tables: Rooms featured tables of varied shapes and sizes, reflecting a diverse design approach.

• Bath Tubs: Shaker Ltd meticulously worked on the bath surrounds, tailoring each to unique specifications that necessitated individual molds. The creation of bespoke molds underscores a high level of customization for each bath.

• Sinks: The project included the installation of various sinks, with some being wall-hanging and others mounted on structures provided by FXB & Bathroom Design.

• Room Aesthetics: The redesigned rooms aimed to evoke a sense of warmth through the use of earthly tones, harmonizing with unobstructed views of the Mediterranean Sea.

• Use of DuPont Corian: The incorporation of original DuPont Corian in the refurbishment underscores a commitment to quality and durability.

• Collaboration with FXB & Bathroom Design: Shaker Ltd engaged in a collaborative effort with FXB & Bathroom Design, exemplifying a multidisciplinary approach to the renovation.

• Specific Fabrication and Installation: Shaker Ltd played a pivotal role in fabricating and installing various elements, including wall-hung vanity units with integrated towel holders, bath-tub surface coverings, vanity surfaces over wooden leg structures, bath-tub surrounds, thermoformed desks, and kitchen tops with integrated Corian diamond blue color wall-cladding.
