On the outside, stylish and seamless Corian® solid surface and underneath, hidden from view, state of the art wireless technology that powers up smartphones and tablets.

What is wireless Charging ?
Wireless power transfers energy from a transmitter beneath the charging spot(s), to a smart device. The power transfer conveniently occurs without using conductors (i.e. no wires).

Shaker as part of the DuPont™ Corian® Quality Network, is authorised to integrate the wireless charger along with Corian® surfaces only. Here is how to charge smartphones and tablets wirelessly on your DuPont™ Corian® surface.

1 – Purchase a counter top from Shaker, which includes an integrated wireless charging spot. Charging spots can be integrated in kitchen counter tops, living room tables, desks, bedside cabinets and much more.

2 – Corian® is 100% non-porous and available in many colours. Choose your preferred colour which matches your interior.

3 – Choose where you would like to place the wireless charger(s).

4 – Shaker fabricators will integrate wireless charging in your surface. Upon installation this will be ready for use.

5 – Place your smart device and let it charge, charging begins automatically if the devices are natively enabled with the technology. If your device does not have integrated wireless charging, do not worry, we will provide you with Powermat® rings, which can be connected to your phone acting as an adapter. The ring is plugged into the smart device charging port and acts as a receiver of the magnetic energy created by the technology embedded in to DuPont™ Corian® solid surface.

6 – Charging will stop when the battery is full. It’s that simple !!
